I has been more than 6 years since my last post about my short climb at Rangitoto, New Zealand. A lot has happened and here I am now in New Zealand attempting to break the 7th year hiatus.
I couldn’t remember why I stop posting. I suppose it all started due to the popularity of Social Media where my friends & families started venting their dailies on Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp. Having these platforms in a way, it’s just easy to share content with people. I suppose that indirectly leads me to not maintaining my own weblog in this period of time, and also career changes and other priorities set place.
Before writing this entry, it struck me to write something when a friend is asking about setting up a WordPress site. I suppose I should really make use of my weblog to document some of my travels, experience, and other random stuff on a blog for future reference rather than putting these content on Facebook.
Maybe just a quick update. I consider myself quite fortunate that in this time of global pandemic period, I am now in one of the safest places on earth to be in which is New Zealand where the number of cases is low. Aside from that, I am in the Software Development line of business/career in which I could work remotely without requiring to be exposed in the public nor couldn’t get anything done at home. Times are difficult for many, but as long we count on every little blessing we have, it would make it easier to get by.
Now that I made my first post after 6 years, I do have quite a number of things to write down but couldn’t decide where to start. I’ll try to make it a habit of posting something once a month.
